Dr Musawenkosi Saurombe

The first and youngest of the lot, is the smart, daring postdoctoral researcher, activist and motivational speaker, Dr. Musawenkosi Saurombe. Dr. Musa, as she is affectionately known is an early career academic, making waves in the academic sphere, after becoming the youngest female PhD graduate in Africa, at the age of 23.

The young lady exhibited a ravenous passion for learning as she acquired her degree at 19, her Honours degree at 20 and her master’s degree (cum laude) at 21. She did all these in record time while being the top student in her faculty.

Without any waste of time, she delved straight into her PhD studies in 2015, completing this qualification also in record time of 2 years, with no amendments required for her thesis. The young marvel became a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Psychology on 25 April, 2017. In September 2018, Dr. Musa was featured in the list of the Top 100 Most Influential Young Africans announced by the Africa Youth Awards.

Timothy Maurice

Timothy Maurice Webster is the author of four bestselling books on human and brand behaviour. His research focuses on the link between Brain Power and Brand Influence. Timothy has worked between America, Africa and emerging markets for the past decade. His research, talks and media work explore the evolving trends in Neuroscience and how professionals and organisations should think about how the brain processes identity, brand power and human behaviour.

Timothy’s work is inspired by his studies in branding, design and neuroscience from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Sloan School of Management and Brookstone College.

Timothy’s interest is in Leadership, Brand Influence and Gender Equality. He hopes to connect and engage with those who seek to expand their influence and drive greater impact.

The ultimate powerhouse bringing magic and fire to O.U.R Con is none other than Siphiwe Moyo. Siphiwe is a sought after and top rated international keynote speaker, facilitator and author.

He is co-founder and Chief Learning Officer at Twice Blue and an Adjunct Faculty member at GIBS, Henley, Stellenbosch and Wits Business Schools. Siphiwe is in a very interesting stage of his professional speaking career, what he calls his midway.

He is no longer new in the professional speaking circuit, but he is no legend either. Midway is that place where you are not where you were at the beginning, but you haven’t reached your destination either.

At O.U.R Con, Siphiwe will address this topic of how to sprint to the finish line while appreciating your journey thus far.

Aletta Rochat is a professional speaker and South Africa’s first Certified World Class Speaking Coach. She teaches clients how to breathe life into their speeches and how to make their messages crystal clear.

Aletta is a master storyteller who captivates her audiences as she shares practical strategies you can use right away. She has authored two books, Speak Connect Succeed – Build Your Reputation as You Speak as well as The Wedding Speaker’s Guide.

She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and a Regional Advisor for Toastmasters International in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her clients range from corporates wishing to improve their presentation skills, to CEOs wanting to be more persuasive in their speeches.

She has coached many executives launching new products and speaking at international conventions. She has a professional background in Marketing Management. She will be bringing her magic to O.U.R Con.
