TLI for what?

Did you know that Toastmasters envisioned future is to “to be the first-choice provider of dynamic, high-value, experiential communication and leadership skills development.”

In order to achieve that, we need solid structures that will ensure that at each level, members and clubs have adequate support and resources to take them forward. TLI is for that!

The Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) is a standardised body whose mission is to provide and equip Toastmasters in Southern Africa with the ability and knowledge to be effective leaders and communicators.

How will this be achieved?

With the wide network of accredited TLI trainers; the institute well equipped to provide masterclass training to our leadership teams. Proper training will ensure proper performance, which will make sure that all our club leaders deliver excellence to the members.

How can you contribute to this institute?

Firstly, by you applying to be in the TLI institute is a great start to contributing to the mission. To be an accredited trainer:

  • Attend a Speaker to Trainer workshop
  • Complete an application form online
  • Liaise with the TLI Coordinator in your Division for an assessment session.
  • Submit your assessment to tli@toastmasters74.org

If already an accredited, identify a number of clubs you can support, do a gap analysis and fulfill the needs on a regular and consistent basis.
