Costs
When you join a Toastmasters Club there are certain costs that are involved. Membership Fees are payable twice a year, in April and October. The basic membership fee is US$36 for the six-month period, pro rata. In effect this means that the membership fees work out as US$6 per month.
On joining a Toastmasters Club you will need to pay a once-off Joining Fee of US$20. This includes your registration as a member of the Toastmasters International organisation and the training manuals and materials you will need as you embark on your Toastmasters career. This is paid in addition to the Membership Fee above.
The total fees displayed represent a pro-rata payment due for a new member until the next semi-annual payment (in April and October). Please note that while costs are given in American Dollars, these are converted into South African Rands amounts for members’ convenience, at current exchange rates. The amounts displayed are purely an estimate, and are subject to change at any time. Individual clubs may make their own adjustments, e.g. additional costs for meals and venue hire.
