Covering What Period ?

  • 1 July to date of the Award Committee Meeting - usually March

Presented To ?
(Individual, Team etc. )

  • One of District 74’s Division Governors
  • Must have been served as Division Governor from 1 July and will in all likelihood complete his/her term of office

Exclusions ?
(i.e. Not Eligible for nomination)

  • Division Governors who did not or will not complete their terms of office
  • NB: The award may in exceptional circumstances be shared between two or more division Governors but this is not desirable
  • All Division Governors who fail to perform their duties

For What ?
(The criteria)

  • To honour and recognise the Division Governor who has made a significant contribution to the goals and mission of his/her Division and District.
  • The recipient must be generally recognisedby his/her fellow Toastmasters within the Division and District 74 for outstanding contributions in the following areas:-
    1. Meeting all minimum requirements of his/her function as set out in the Division Governors Handbook.( eg. Club Visits, Club Officer Training, Contests, Reports, Div. Council meetings etc.)
    2. Membership Building and Retention
    3. Club Extension
    4. Education and Training of Division Officers and Members
    5. Leadership, Commitment and Support
    6. External Public Relations and Promotion of Toastmasters
    7. Involvement in District 74 Affairs (e.g. Conferences/Contests)

Who May Nominate ?

  • All members of District 74 Council (i.e. Cabinet, Division Governors, Area Governors, Club Presidents and Vice Presidents Education)
  • All District 74 Coordinators
